Abiding Savior is an amazing community of faith and we’re excited to welcome others to join us!
There are many ways we reach out to those in our local neighborhoods. Four great examples are our Neighborhood Family Fun Night, our Trunk or Treat, our Election Night events, and hosting a viewing area for the Santa Parade.
- Family Fun Night is held the Wednesday evening during the week of Vacation Bible School. Families are invited to come for food, fun, music and games.
- Our Trunk or Treat event is held the Saturday morning before Halloween. Individuals and families are invited to decorate their trunk and hand out treats, or just come and enjoy activities, goodies, and fellowship!
- The Election Night Meal is held on (can you guess?) Election Night! It is an evening of enjoying delicious pulled pork sandwiches, Scandinavian food, music, a bake sale and community fellowship!
- The Santa Parade is put on by the Spring Lake Park – Blaine – Mounds View Fire Department and is typically on the first or second Tuesday of December. Abiding Savior hosts a viewing spot in our parking lot where families can gather safely together to watch the parade. The Fire Department provides hot chocolate and we provide treats!
All events are wonderful opportunities to get to visit with people you know and meet new ones!
We hope to see you at next year’s Family Fun Night, Trunk or Treat, Election Night Meal and Santa Parade!
